A brand message became a game.
T-Mobile’s Rage Against Big Internet campaign introduced an interactive Whack-an-Internet Provider experience at Santa Monica Pier in 2022. POPUP helped turn the campaign into a playful public activation.
Built for participation.
Visitors used a magenta mallet to react to campaign messages as they appeared within the custom game. The familiar arcade format gave people an immediate way to understand and join the experience.
POPUP’s role connected venue sourcing, custom fabrication, staffing and on-site activation, bringing the physical build and guest flow together in a busy outdoor destination.
A message people could experience.
The activation translated a communications campaign into a tangible interaction. The game gave the brand a recognizable presence and a direct way to engage visitors through play.
