A hometown release in motion.
For A Boogie wit da Hoodie’s album launch, POPUP brought a mobile listening experience into the heart of New York. Times Square became the setting for an artist-and-fan moment tied to the new music.
Built for the streets and the fans.
A double-decker bus carried the album artwork, a custom sound system and a DJ setup. Invited fans joined an advance listening experience, while the location brought the wider fan community into the moment.
POPUP connected the vehicle build, experiential planning and on-site production to create a recognizable moving presence within the city.
The city became part of the release.
The activation placed the artist’s music in the place he calls home. A shared listening moment and a visible street-level presence gave the launch a story that fans could experience and share.
