Dossier x Lauren Giraldo: community before the product pitch

Project location: Miami, Florida · Project context: 2026 · Prepared by POPUP from the project archive in October 2026.

Lauren Giraldo's community came together in Miami for movement, conversation and Dulce Flor. The shared walk gave Dossier's fragrance encounter a natural place within the creator's day.

How can a creator event connect community activity with sampling?

The brief connected Dulce Flor with Lauren’s community and her approach to an active, social day. The opportunity was to let people spend time together and discover the fragrance through an experience that felt close to the creator’s world.

Move from a shared activity to a shared discovery. Bring the community together for a walk, then continue the connection through fragrance touchpoints, a branded product display and time with Lauren.

Start with something people can do together

Lauren joined guests for a group walk through Miami. The activity created a shared beginning for the experience, with the creator and her community in the same setting before moving into the fragrance encounter.

Give the fragrance its own moment

Dulce Flor remained central to the experience through product presentation and a dedicated Dossier display. The setting connected the creator collaboration with the fragrance itself, giving the community a physical point of discovery.

Make the connection personal

The meet-and-greet made room for one-to-one photos with Lauren at the branded display. The guest journey brought movement, conversation and fragrance into the same event, with on-site coordination supporting the flow between those moments.

Give the shared day a tangible ending

Dossier fragrance gifts gave the day a physical takeaway, connecting the community walk and time with Lauren to a product guests could bring home.

The planning lesson

Choose an activity the community recognizes, then make the transition to product discovery feel continuous. Plan the arrival back from the activity, time with the creator and access to the product display. Those transitions are part of the experience design.

Who delivered the experience

POPUP brought experience design, event production, venue coordination and on-site management together around the guest journey. The work connected the community activity with a setting for fragrance discovery and personal interaction.

Delivered with Dossier and Lauren Giraldo. Dossier and its partners led the talent relationship, promotional campaigns, guest-list development and content creation.
