Project location: New York, NY · Project context: 2016 · Prepared by POPUP from the project archive in October 2026.
Wild Youth took shape as a gallery and a music occasion in New York. Artwork and merchandise gave fans a daytime encounter, with Steve Angello's meet-and-greet and a companion club performance connecting the spaces. This was earlier Fancy.com work.
How can an album launch connect art, retail and a live performance?
A music release can have several physical expressions, each offering fans a different way to connect.
Give Wild Youth connected settings: a gallery-like shop for the artwork and collection, then a live club night with Steve.

Give the album a gallery
Custom art pieces and the merchandise collection formed the pop-up’s core during Valentine’s Day and New York Fashion Week.
Connect the gallery to the music
Steve met fans in store and performed at a companion club night, linking the retail setting with a live music occasion.
The planning lesson
Give each setting a clear purpose and make the relationship easy to understand. A gallery can reward close discovery while a performance gathers the community differently. Coordinate the guest journey between them rather than expecting one room to serve every need.
Who delivered the experience
The team delivered the gallery pop-up through Fancy.com, presenting custom art pieces and the merchandise collection, hosting Steve’s in-store meet-and-greet and a club night where he performed.
The Pop Up Team’s earlier work delivered through Fancy.com, before POPUP.
What the experience made possible
The gallery-like experience connected Wild Youth’s creative world with collection discovery and personal encounters with Steve Angello.
