Stoli x Sveta: a restaurant collaboration with a cause

Inside Cocktails for Ukraine at Sveta: a restaurant transformed through florals, blue-and-yellow graphics and Ukrainian cultural references.

Stoli × Sveta West Village, New York · Cocktails for Ukraine

A place to gather. A reason to care.

Cocktails for Ukraine brought Stoli and Sveta together in the West Village. An immersive restaurant takeover connected Ukrainian cultural references, expressive cocktails and a visible invitation to support World Central Kitchen.

The opportunity

The brief.

A campaign supporting Ukraine needed a place where people could spend time with its purpose. Sveta’s existing restaurant offered a hospitality setting for that encounter: a place to meet, share a drink and discover the collaboration.

The idea

Let hospitality carry the purpose.

Make the restaurant the story. Bring the campaign into the room through a floral passage, blue-and-yellow surfaces, cultural imagery and the limited-edition Stoli bottle—then carry the invitation to support World Central Kitchen into the cocktail presentation.

POPUP’s role

The work behind the experience.

POPUP fabricated and installed the physical experience at Sveta, translating the pop-up concept into an environment that could sit within a working restaurant.

Step into a different world.

A floral tunnel threaded through the restaurant, creating a passage between the tables and bar. Layers of foliage, flowers and light made the takeover feel immersive while keeping the restaurant’s seating and service visible.

Give the campaign a visual language.

Blue-and-yellow table graphics, a dove motif and a large graphic inspired by the Independence Monument brought the campaign into the room. Sunflowers and floral details connected that visual language with the restaurant’s atmosphere.

Make the product part of the setting.

Stoli’s limited-edition Ukraine bottle sat alongside embroidered cloth, flowers and glassware. The product presentation became part of the hospitality experience, with the campaign’s colors and symbols carried across the table.

Carry the invitation into the cocktail.

Cocktails for Ukraine appeared on branded serving packaging, including a visible QR invitation to donate to World Central Kitchen. The purpose of the collaboration stayed close to the drink itself, rather than being confined to a separate campaign message.

Keep the experience rooted in hospitality.

Behind the environmental details, Sveta remained a place for drinks and conversation. The campaign lived across the bar, cocktail service and dining room, bringing the brand collaboration into the familiar rhythm of a restaurant visit.

What it made possible

A purpose woven into the visit.

A physical home for the collaboration.

The restaurant brought Stoli, Sveta and Cocktails for Ukraine together in one setting.

A visible way to support the cause.
