BRAND ACTIVATIONS
Give people a part in the story.

A brand activation earns attention by giving someone something to do. Taste it. Try it. Make it their own. Join the conversation. The experience needs a clear relationship to the brand and a reason for the audience to take part.
POPUP connects creative thinking with physical delivery, bringing brands into places where people can encounter them directly. We work across product experiences, launches, cultural collaborations and branded environments, with the production and on-site team shaped around the brief.
Start with the behavior.
Before choosing a format, establish the action that matters. A trial experience helps someone understand a product. A launch introduces a new story. A collaboration gives a brand a credible place within an existing community. Each calls for a different invitation, setting and plan.
We carry that purpose through the visitor journey: how people notice the experience, how they enter, what happens while they are there and where the relationship can go next.
Creative intent, carried through production.
A working scope can bring together experience design, branded environments, fabrication, installation, partner coordination, staffing and guest management. When the project involves a specialist venue, talent or a wider agency team, we define those relationships explicitly. The ambition should be supported by a clear delivery plan.
Different briefs. Distinct experiences.
IL MAKIAGE: a launch built around personal discovery
Beauty consultations and makeovers met music and hospitality at the SoHo opening. POPUP delivered the launch event, talent collaboration, influencer partnerships, PR and content; the brand’s own experts led the beauty services.
Nuna: let the product demonstrate itself
A test track at Nordstrom gave shoppers a way to experience a stroller in motion. POPUP fabricated and installed the track, integrating the trial with the product presentation and visual merchandising.

Stoli × Sveta: a collaboration with a setting and a purpose
The New York restaurant takeover brought Stoli’s Cocktails for Ukraine campaign into a hospitality environment. POPUP helped deliver the branded setting and installation.
Choose the format that serves the idea.
A pop-up experience gives the audience a destination. A mobile activation brings the encounter into different neighborhoods and settings. An in-store experience connects participation with a place people already shop. We help make that choice around the audience and the job the campaign needs to do.
Agree on what success means before launch.
Set the campaign objective and the evidence you will use to assess it while the experience is being planned. A product trial, a retail visit and a business inquiry are different outcomes. Any data collection needs a clear purpose and an appropriate consent process, with responsibilities agreed between the teams involved.
Brief the experience around a decision.
Start with what you want the audience to understand, feel or do. Then give the team the context: the product, the people you need to reach, the launch window and the role of your existing creative partners. A format is easier to choose when the objective is clear.
What if we already have the campaign idea?
Bring it. We can work within an agreed production scope, translating the creative direction into a physical experience. Establish who owns design approvals, fabrication, talent, venue coordination and on-site delivery before those workstreams begin.
How should we compare agency proposals?
Look at the responsibilities behind the idea. Ask what is included, what depends on the venue or a third party, who runs the experience on site and how changes are handled. Relevant work should show both the creative context and the agency’s actual role.
How will the experience connect to the next step?
Define the handoff while planning the guest journey: a product conversation, a store visit or a permission-based follow-up. Give each outcome a clear owner and an agreed way to assess it. Attendance alone does not tell the whole story.
Tell us what you want to make happen.
Share the brand, the audience and the idea you are working toward. If the location, timing or scope is still taking shape, we can start there.
