A stroller is made to move. Nuna's Nordstrom test track gave shoppers a way to experience that movement in the store, with a fabricated installation connected to the surrounding product presentation.

How can an in-store demonstration help a shopper compare products?
Give parents a more useful way to explore the stroller beyond a static display.
POPUP fabricated and installed the in-store test track, integrating it with the product presentation and visual merchandising.
Let movement become part of discovery
A stroller display shows the product; a test track lets someone explore it in motion. Nuna’s Nordstrom installation brought that action into the store. POPUP fabricated and installed the track, connecting the hands-on encounter with product presentation and visual merchandising.
Connect the trial with the assortment
The useful relationship is between trying and choosing. A visitor can move from the display to the trial and return with more context for a product conversation. For another retail demonstration, the layout should make that sequence legible. A hands-on area needs to feel like part of the shopping floor.
Ask what the shopper needs to experience
Before commissioning a product-trial installation, identify which behavior matters to the purchase. For a stroller, movement is an obvious point of discovery. Other categories may need a different interaction. The goal is to help the customer consider the product through use, with staff guidance connected to the assortment rather than a separate attraction.
The planning lesson
Design a product trial around the behavior a shopper needs to understand. The route, display and staff guidance should connect the action with product consideration. Keep the trial easy to enter and the return to the assortment clear.
