Loop-Loc: product storytelling through a poolside shoot

Project location: Los Angeles, CA · Prepared by POPUP from the project archive in October 2026.

Towels, cushions and float covers made more sense together by the pool. Loop-Loc's Backyard Accents production connected product details with the way people might use the collection during an outdoor day.

How can lifestyle photography explain a coordinated product range?

A coordinated collection is easier to understand when its products are seen together. The setting needs to show what each piece does while helping people imagine how the whole range could fit into their lives.

Treat the backyard as a complete scene. Let color and pattern connect the towels, cushions and float covers, then show that same collection through swimming, lounging and gathering.

Show the collection as a whole

Overhead compositions connect the product range in one view: towels on the pool deck, cushions on loungers and float covers on the water. The poolside setting gives each item a purpose while keeping the shared palette visible.

Let the details move

The film adds qualities a still image cannot hold on its own: a towel opening in the breeze, fabric moving with a model, and products seen from changing angles. Close views of the prints sit alongside wider scenes of the pool and outdoor space.

Build a usable visual range

Product photography and lifestyle film followed the collection from a day by the pool to an evening gathering, showing how each piece fits into outdoor living.

The planning lesson

Build a shot list that moves between the range and individual items. Wide views explain the setting; close views show material and pattern. Film can add movement that still photography cannot, so plan both around the same product story.

Who delivered the experience

POPUP coordinated the physical production behind the campaign imagery: the location, photography and video teams, models, styling and product setup. The work brought a planned shot list into a consistent poolside setting.
