POP-UP EXPERIENCES
A place people have a reason to find.

A good pop-up starts before the floor plan. What brings someone through the door? What can they do here that they cannot do on a screen? And what should stay with them after they leave?
POPUP develops physical experiences around those questions, connecting the idea with the space, the production and the people who make it work. From a product introduction to an artist shop or a temporary retail destination, we help brands give an audience somewhere to go.
Make the visit worth it.
A setting can be beautiful and still leave people wondering what to do. We plan the experience around an invitation: try the product, discover a collection, meet the community or step into a different part of the brand. Design, programming and guest flow should make that invitation easy to understand.
Connect the idea with opening day.
The scope follows the brief. It can include creative direction and experience planning, location sourcing and coordination, spatial design, fabrication and installation, staffing, guest management and retail operations. We establish responsibilities with your team and specialist partners before production, so the handoffs are clear.
For a selling environment, the experience also needs a working shop behind it. Product presentation, inventory, checkout and staff preparation belong in the plan from the start.

Dossier: fragrance discovery in person
Scent testing, live personalization and hospitality gave the online fragrance brand a physical welcome in New York. POPUP connected experience design and production with staffing, guest flow and retail operations.

H&M: the operation behind a holiday market
At Brasserie Hennes, POPUP supported The Gathery’s concept through retail staffing, training, inventory and point-of-sale administration. A clear operating plan helped different merchants share one shopping environment.

Temporary experience or longer-term retail?
A campaign pop-up and a continuing store ask different questions about the property, the build and the operating commitment. If you are exploring a flagship, a store rollout or continuing venue support, visit Retail by POPUP for our retail offering.
Before the brief becomes a build.
Do we need a location first?
No. Start with the audience, the purpose and the markets you are considering. The location should support the experience, rather than force the idea into an unsuitable space.
Can POPUP work alongside an existing creative agency?
Yes. We can develop the experience with your team or take an agreed production and operating scope within a wider collaboration. Creative authorship and delivery responsibilities are established together.
What belongs in a pop-up brief?
You do not need a finished concept to start a conversation. A useful brief gives the team enough context to make the first decisions:
- The job: introduce a product, invite trial, sell a collection or build a community moment.
- The audience and market: who should visit, and which neighborhoods or cities matter.
- The window: an opening date, an approximate run or a campaign milestone.
- The working scope: what your team already owns, from creative and merchandise to a possible location.
If you have an investment range, it helps us consider the scale and priorities. If dates, markets or budget are still open, say so—we can begin with the objective.
What affects the production plan?
The space, custom fabrication, length of the run, staffing and retail requirements all shape the scope. A one-night launch and a store operating for several weeks need different plans. Establish those choices before committing to the build.
